Be a Poll Watcher

What does a poll watcher do?

Poll watchers are appointed to observe the voting process at polling places to make sure that they are orderly and properly supervised by poll workers. In addition, they help with our final GOTV efforts by annotating lists of voters who vote at the polls. Other volunteers then contact the voters who have not yet voted on election day to remind them to vote! Because so many voters are voting by advance ballot this year, we expect a much lower turnout on November 3. Thus, we are planning to have two 6-hour shifts at polling places.
