Inauguration Service Event

Service Event to Celebrate the Inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris

Our celebratory service event is a donation drive to assist people throughout Douglas County. We are excited to announce that we have been invited to partner with the Biden Inauguration Committee Day of Service to honor Martin Luther King. We have identified several organizations throughout Douglas County that serve folks who are in need of goods and have created depots throughout the county where you can drop off your donations.

You can contribute to our community donation drive by using the lists below to find items in your closet/pantry or favorite shop, then drop them at the nearest depot — dates and times and addresses are listed below. To download/print a comprehensive list of items CLICK HERE.

Then, on Inauguration Day, join us at 6:00 p.m. to celebrate the new Biden-Harris presidency.  We’ll cheer to a future filled with hope, and we’ll report on the results of our Service Event.  Bring in this new era with fellow Democrats, and discover collectively what we gave to Douglas County folks in need.  REGISTER HERE
